Little Cat Z was such a hit at our wedding reception!
Having heard the band before, I knew they would be very professional and do an exceptional job. They went above and beyond our expectations with their ability to adjust to the crowd and diverge into any music style requested. The band’s catalog was very impressive!Little Cat Z was also very flexible. They were willing to work around our specific time schedule,
which helped make the reception a breeze. We would definitely recommend Little Cat Z for any private function that called for a jazz, rock, or pop band.
We are very happy that we chose them to be a part of our wedding reception.

"Little Cat Z was flexible and worked with us on what we wanted. And best of
all, they were dynamic on stage. They really brought life to the party.
They have a great jazz sound. The first time we heard them, we knew
they were perfect for our wedding.
I would recommend Little Cat Z for any special occasion. When I asked them to play
at our wedding reception, I found that they were versatile enough to play everything that
I wanted. And when I didn't know what I wanted, they were experienced enough
to suggest what was perfect for the situation.
We were a little apprehensive about our families meeting, but Little Cat Z brought everybody
together. They are very talented and have a nice stage presence.
Weddings can be a stressful time. It was very reassuring working with Little
Cat Z, because they were clearly professionals. I was totally confident that
the music would be great, and it was." - Josh and Nell Shaw

Little Cat Z made our wedding special in numerous ways.
The level of professionalism on their behalf was outstanding.
I never felt stressed out while dealing with the band.
Other vendors for my wedding were not nearly
as understanding as to what my husband's and my vision of our wedding was.
It felt like we knew the guys in the band for years.
They knew our taste and style and executed beautifully at our big day.
To this day, we get compliments on how wonderful our band was!
One moment does stand out for me: I wanted a very unique
"father/daughter" song. I heard a Paul Simon tune a few months earlier
on the radio. All I knew was the name ("Father, Daughter") and that Paul
Simon performed it. I contacted Tony Lee and asked him if he could look
into performing this song for my father and me. Seeing how it wasn't a
popular song, I thought they wouldn't be able to perform it.
I was mistaken. Little Cat Z went above and beyond my expectations. Tony kept
close contact with me through email/phone, letting me know that he had
researched the song, learned it and the band was practicing it. I was
ecstatic! I felt sooooo special that they learned this song for our
wedding. Their devotion and hard work paid off and the song was
beautiful. Words cannot express my gratitude to the band, they made the
dance with my father so unique and special. - Meghan Pennell

Having Little Cat Z grace us with their amazing musical talent
at our wedding was a true gift to us, our family and our friends.
Their ability to seamlessly cover a vast spectrum of music
from fun to romantic shows their commitment to excellence.
This is a band that should not be missed!
While we reside in California, we are patiently awaiting their debut CD,
"Just One More." - Leslie and Michael Martinez

Little Cat Z Can Play ; and the foods good, too
Columbia music fan Lee Saurer invited me to hear live music at Docs Gumbo Grille on July 15. For Sauer, Thursday night at the restaurant is an every-week thing.
She was so excited in her e-mails to get me out there that I had to accept the invitation.
Known for its variations of New Orleans gumbo, Docs obviously is more than just a restaurant.People filled every table and booth at the Assembly Street eatery to hear the jazz stylings of Little Cat Z.
The band plays there for a few hours each Thursday night; from what I heard, I can understand why the band is a regular.
Little Cat Z is the epitome of a house band. The crowd, an equal mix of younger and older folks, was captured by the music.
Sauer, who swung her shoulders in her seat, is a loyal fan.
Theres nothing else like this in Columbia, she said. The band is great.
Don Russo is the frontman. With a voice that reminded me of early Sting with the police and remarkable jazz guitar skills, he led the bands effortless flow between song and jam.
The sound was crisp and clear, as each instrument was easily identified within the jams.
For the second set, Little Cat Z allowed folks from the crowd to sit in for a song. I heard God Bless the Child, but my favorite was Summertime (from Porgy and Bess).
Little Cat Z ripped a slick transition that turned the song into jazz rock. I seriously thought about dancing.
There arent many places in town where you can grab a meal, listen to live music and be able to talk to your friends without screaming.
It was a pleasant evening. Thanks for the invite, Lee.
